People in Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi are falling prey to fraudulent offers and buying plots that might pose a serious threat to the Master Plan 2031 in the near future.
Surge in illegal plotting due to connectivity projects
Projects like the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad connectivity projects have created a high demand for plots in these areas. The colonizers have projected that investment will increase land prices sooner, based on which people are investing in colonies without permission from the government authorities.
Serious threat to Master Plan 2031
The fast-growing illegal plotting and haphazard development is affecting the Master Plan 2031 plans. Construction of sector roads and infrastructure in many areas would be affected. Yet, the administration has already made it clear that it is taking continuous actions to avoid illegal construction.

The land acquisition process is already in process in various villages around Faridabad and Palwal, amidst the expansion of HSIIDC and HSVP. The administration said that more than 35 actions have been taken against illegal colonies in the last three months, but such activities have not stopped.
